Thanks Nadine! And that's such a good way to put it -- breaking up and making up. Thinking of body image as relational makes sense because I know that for me, when things go wrong, it's easy to take it out on my body, even if my body has nothing to do with it. It's the same way that I might be snippy towards my partner at the end of a bad day at work even though he played no part in it. Love to you

In addition, I have had to learn to make peace with the fact that people will always have opinions of me (good, bad, or otherwise) and it is OKAY for me to ignore them if it means I am putting my mental self first. <3
