I have also enjoyed all the themes, but my favorites have fallen into the “Empathy for Others” category and the “Emily Fleming” category. And yes, I did create my own category, thankyouverymuch. I love learning from, and being being challenged by, certain assumptions we may have held true or ideas I hadn’t considered and the letters in these categories did that for me. The recommendations are super fun and I’ve followed up on several. Side note: really like Sam’s idea about specific city recs. Congratulations, Emily & Molly, on a great first year!

I have loved all of the themes, but motherhood and friendship resonate the most with me. I am very thankful for all of the thoughtful letters, but find the most joy in the recommendations at the end. Keep up the great work! xoxo

We are so thankful for our readers! I’m always impressed by the range of “5 Favorite Things.” My favorites are books and coffee drinks--I try them out. Anyone else try any of the “5 Favorites?”

I think all of them. (Sorry! 😆 I know that does nothing to narrow it down.) the variety of topics was great bc I feel like each of us contain multitudes. The friendship by decade series does stick out as rather special.

So happy you liked so many of them! I’m like you and I still am reminded of little gems here and there from the friendship series. It felt reassuring in so many ways.

I love a good recommendation too! Are there any other recommendations you’d be interested in?

Since so many of the writer are all over, maybe like "your favorite restaurant, bakery, coffee shop, place to eat" where you live! so that if someone is ever in that area they can try it :)
